Relaxi Taxi

Relaxi is a retreat offering Londoners a compact, tranquil third space on wheels, bringing peace to the pulse of the city.We intend to offer a personalized service called relaxi, essentially extending the hotel experience outside of its walls. remain iconic within the city’s history of transportation. We aim to enhance both of these symbols by creating a comfortable and seamless guest experience, focusing on sensorial additions. This is a case study that can later be offered to other UK hotels who express interest.

How can historical taxis in the UK adapt and evolve alongside city growth? Clipper Automotive and Relaxi present a private mobile Zen space amid urban chaos. In a city where peace is scarce, it acts as a crucial "third space,' providing a refuge for individuals to find calm and simply be, away from constant noise and distractions.

Outcome

Relaxi seamlessly transforms into a haven on wheels, delivering tranquillity within the city's beating heart. Its ingeniously compact nature ensures accessibility even in the tightest urban spaces, making it an irresistible retreat for individuals navigating bustling areas like offices and universities.

Relaxi: A private mobile Zen space amidst the urban chaos. In a city where finding peace is a luxury it serves as a vital "third space," offering individuals a refuge to find solace and simply exist, away from the incessant noise and distractions of daily life. With over 4 million London Tube commuters actively seeking solace daily, as revealed by the 2023 TFL survey, why not bring peace directly to them?

For our cab design, we considered visual, olfactory, and tactile aspects. To improve the visual experience, we incorporated ambient lighting, calming colors, an optic fiber ceiling, and greenery.
